Hi I’m Elodee! I make music from the comfort of my bedroom. My taste in music has always been eclectic. I was a “scene/emo” kid who also loved the blues and early 2000s R&B. Those influences definitely reflect in my sound, though I especially lean toward the indie rock genre. Artists like Hayley Williams have been a major inspiration.
I come from a mixed Latine background with mostly Indigenous and Spanish ancestry. Growing up surrounded by music, I eventually “borrowed” one of my dad’s guitars and taught myself to play. He let me keep it only after I proved I could play, and I’ve been creating ever since.
For me, music is more than just an expression. It’s a form of healing and a way to cope with my chronic illness. I write songs to share my story, and to give voice to experiences that have stuck with me, whether they’re mine or someone else’s.
